High School Diploma (CESS)

Institut Saint-Joseph Welkenraedt

After 6 wonderful years, I obtained my CESS. Curious to understand the world around me, the strong mathematics and strong sciences option was an obvious choice. The Dutch and English options allowed me to develop my language skills. Computer science classes provided a first contact with development. I also had the chance to be a class representative and organize the senior year day.

First steps in development

Passionate about the universe of GTA RP servers discovered during livestreams, I first joined the community as a simple player. Very quickly, curiosity took over: I wanted to understand what was happening behind the scenes. I then rented my very first server at Zap-Hosting to start exploring the configuration files, which opened the doors to Lua development for me.

Bachelor in Physical Sciences

University of Liège

My higher education adventure began with a stint in industrial engineering at HELMo Gramme, before redirecting to physics at ULiège. This path allowed me to develop a solid rigor in mathematical logic, mechanics, and electricity. It was mostly during this period that I discovered programming and algorithms with C++. In parallel, I fully invested myself by joining the physics student circle.

Sept. 2022

Bruxelles Life Server

From simple player to developer within the Bruxelles Life server team. For almost 2 years, I fulfilled the role of developer by creating custom Discord scripts/bots for players, while optimizing the MySQL database and its queries. My role went beyond just technical aspects: I designed mappings, managed relationships and orders with freelance service providers, and was involved in managing the staff, players, and organizing events.

This experience also allowed me to collaborate with a talented Brussels student, confirming how much I love teamwork. However, this passionate investment required a lot of time, becoming difficult to reconcile with my studies, which led me to make the choice to put an end to it.

Sept. 2025

Reflection and redirection

Right after stopping physics, an Achilles tendon injury immobilized me for 6 months. This forced break gave me time to step back and refocus on the essentials. It became obvious that computer science had to be present, closely or distantly, in my professional future.

Fall 2025

The Java & Linux ecosystem

During my convalescence, friends and I decided to launch LostDynasty, an anarchic Minecraft server. Not wanting to depend on pre-configured hosting anymore, I took the plunge and invested in my first Linux VPS running Ubuntu. This allowed me to take full control of the infrastructure: routing, containerization, DNS, SSH security, and firewall configuration.

To run the server, I handled the Java ecosystem (.jar), while developing a custom Discord bot to animate our community server. I also launched streaming sessions to promote the project, which allowed us to gather a growing and engaged community.

Early 2026

Automation & Web

To professionalize my workflow, I integrated Git, GitHub, and PM2 to automate my deployments. It is also to retrace this entire journey that I designed the first version of my website.

Spring 2026

Advance and improve

To offer the best possible experience to LostDynasty players, I undertook a complete overhaul of the project. I entirely rewrote the code to design an optimized V2, enriched with exclusive features. This initiative was a great success with the community, which was very enthusiastic and grateful for the improvements made. In parallel with the technical aspect, I ensured the global coordination of the project by guiding and structuring the non-developer work of the team.

.NET Full Stack Training

Technifutur & Cefora

Once recovered, I wanted to bounce back without wasting time by seizing the opportunity to follow an intensive and qualifying training course in .NET Full Stack development. My main goal was to anchor, structure, and validate all my self-taught skills. This experience is particularly enriching: it allows me to collaborate daily with other future developers, to exchange on our practices, and to strengthen my taste for teamwork.

Summer 2026

Projects & Evolution

Always curious to learn, I rewrote my website in PHP to move away from simple display status and integrate real dynamic logic into it. I also wanted to gather all my creations under a single banner: Younye. Finally, this dynamic led me to an awesome project: an agreement with a Belgian female streamer to design her website and manage her Discord bot. In my future projects, I want to create a mail server.

At the end of my training, my goal is to join a team and start on concrete projects. I am primarily looking for a 3-month internship to validate my curriculum, but I am open to direct hiring if my profile and motivation match your needs.
